NCSC Free Cyber Action Plan

We’re spending more time online than ever. So are cyber criminals.

Individuals and small businesses are a valuable target to cyber criminals. Online security is as important as physical security.

Luckily, there are actions you can take to protect yourself online. And you don’t have to be an IT expert to action them.

The government recently launched a new – and FREE – tool as part of their Cyber Aware campaign. Hosted on the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) website, the Cyber Action Plan takes you through a simple self-assessment, and provides advice on how you can improve your cyber security posture – either as an individual or an SME.

Cyber Aware and the Cyber Action Plan promote six practical steps. Together, they help protect you from the majority of online crime. They help keep you secure by protecting your passwords, your accounts and your devices. By following the advice, it will be harder for criminals to access your money and personal and/or business information.
